Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Criqly (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Criqly. If you are under the age of majority in your country you may only use the Service with a parent or guardian’s consent.

3. Your account

• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information. Do not impersonate others.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are abusive or fraudulent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe on others’ rights, or harass other users.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or bulk-download data without permission.
• Use the Service to distribute spam or unsolicited marketing.
• Create fake accounts, manipulate scoring, or game fantasy leaderboards.

5. User content

You keep ownership of the content you post (team names, commentary, helpdesk messages, etc.). You grant Criqly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post it.

6. Club, league and scoring data

League organisers, club owners, captains, and scorers are responsible for the accuracy of the data they enter. Criqly provides tools and audit logs but does not guarantee the competitive results of any match or tournament.

7. Subscriptions & payments

• Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may be changed with at least 30 days’ notice.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion except where required by law.
• Taxes are your responsibility unless explicitly stated.

8. Advertising

The Service may display advertising via Google AdSense or similar networks. Your consent for personalised ads is managed via the cookie banner and the cookie policy. Content or products advertised are not endorsed by Criqly.

9. Intellectual property

The Criqly name, logo, code, and site content (excluding user content and third-party feeds) are owned by Criqly and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use them without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Live scores, statistics, and third-party cricket data are provided for information only and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not rely on them for betting or financial decisions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Criqly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us during that period, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (without regard to conflict-of-law rules), except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. The courts of Hyderabad, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the same exception.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site and, where required, sent by email. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept them.
